The DLEC2-24 Mining Encapsulated and Intrinsically Safe Electronic Horn (hereinafter referred to as the Electronic Horn) is a horn designed for use with underground coal mine haulage locomotives. It offers the advantages of durability, excellent explosion-proof performance, an aesthetically pleasing appearance, high sound pressure level, low operating noise, and a long transmission range. These features make it highly suitable for use in coal mines with risks of methane or coal dust explosions.According to relevant national regulations, this type of horn is mandatory equipment for safety vehicles in coal mines, coal processing plants, railway stations, ports, *, petroleum, and chemical enterprises. The DLEC2-24 Electronic Horn features a fully sealed construction at all contact points except for the black power wire terminal. For operation, simply connect the black power wire; no further adjustments are required.Upon receiving the horn, users should immediately inspect it for any damage caused during transportation and select a model that matches the operating voltage of their system. Then, follow these steps:Power off the locomotive.Install the horn in a suitable location as specified in the manual’s installation guidelines.Connect the horn’s black power wire. Note: The polarity of the power connection is irrelevant.Power on the system to check the connection. A normal sounding alarm indicates successful installation.During use, periodically clean the horn bell cavity and any accumulated debris on the housing surface to maintain sound quality.
