It is typically used in conjunction with the FB-800/24YF type generating regulator.The FB-800/24Y Flameproof Permanent Magnet Generator utilizes rare-earth permanent magnet material as its inner rotor to provide excitation. This generator features a compact design, ease of maintenance, and high operational reliability. Its housing is constructed with a flameproof design, making it suitable for operation in flammable and explosive atmospheres classified as Ex d I Mb. The use of a permanent magnet field eliminates the need for components like brushes, thereby preventing arcing and enhancing operational safety and reliability. Additionally, it causes no interference to surrounding radio equipment.The FB-800/24Y Flameproof Permanent Magnet Generator must operate in conjunction with a corresponding TB series environment regulator to function as a DC power source. The FB series flameproof permanent magnet generators are designed in two structural configurations: one where the generator and regulator are separate (split-type), and another where they are integrated into a single unit (hereinafter referred to as integral-type). The split-type generator can rotate in either direction, while the integral-type generator rotates clockwise (viewed from the pulley end).
